Simply perfect. I remember the first time I ever went here several years ago. I had never eaten Thai food in my life and my rigid western palate was very resistant to the idea. My mind was completely blown in an instant. The food is just incredible. Nowadays at our house, when we want to go out to eat, when we're running down the list of nearby restaurants to consider, Mekong is #1. We've gone here on average once a week for several years now. It never disappoints. It's fast, it's easy, it's authentic, and it is always delicious. It's also on the healthier end of the spectrum as far as restaurant eating goes. Thai food has a magical way of making you want to eat your delicious veggies! I tell all my friends and family about this place because people need to know!!

We have been going to Mekongs for a while and they have amazing service with the kindest people serving us. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. Great prices! I totally recommend it.

Me and four co-workers called in our meal and arrived there 20 minutes later to find it ready for us. The food was good except that it was a little bland and the chicken had the most rubbery texture I have ever tasted. Still though, it was really cheap. At that price if it's edible, you can't complain.

I'm not from Olympia, so I can't base my review locally. However, I've been to Thailand and eat Asian food often. Mekong food was good but not superb. It was good enough that I wasn't disappointed, but also not amazed. I ordered five dishes...they were of shareable size. My favorite was the Pad Ke Mao which they call spicy noodle dish. We went home with two dishes, and they will be eaten tonight. The ambiance is old, cheap, but somehow warm and clean too. The servers were very nice, helpful, and kind.
